Back from the hunt

A Hurricane hunter on aproach to Keesler AFB.

Interesting note - We were told that the tall building that appears to be underneath the plane
is responsable for the Air Force having to change their flight paths.

There was an ordinance to restrict the heights of buildings in the area but the ordinance stated
that buildings couldn't have more then a certain number of "floors". So the designers of this building
simply submitted plans that had some creative accounting for the number of "floors" it contained
and then the building was approved.
Now the ordinance states the height restriction in feet.

The building is part of a Casino.
